I just upgraded this blog into the new blogger account. Somehow the layout looks abit different.

CNY 07

Chinese New Year Eve

We had a sumptuous meal that day. Dishes include:
Cereal prawn
Fish
Fried chicken wings
Vegetables with abalone and sea bass
Soup
Fried beehoon and rice

CNY day 1
Some relatives came for visiting. Spent the whole day watching TV. Went to 2nd and 6th uncle's house for visiting in the evening.

CNY Day 2
Went 2nd Auntie's house in the morning. Only Sheila and me follow our parents for visiting. We somehow represent our elder siblings. In the evening, the whole family went for movies. Protege was good! The show is more than just drugs. I like what Daniel Wu said in the beginning and end of the show. "Is drugs scarier or emptiness?" The latter lead to drugs. After movie, Bro went off to meet his gf and Sheena went back home to revise for her tests. We went River Ang Bao. It was so crowded!

Chinese New Year Eve

One thing I love about Chinese New Year is I get to eat alot of goodies! I can eat nothing but all the snacks on the 1st few days of CNY.

Both parents are busy cooking now. There will be a big feast later! This year, I contributed by buying some new year goodies. Din know pineapple tarts and Bak Gua can be some expensive! For the past years, all I did was to eat and know nothing about the price of the items. This time round, I have to really treasure what I eat.

Though its mid Feb now, I still feel that CNY came abit too fast this year. I din manage to get much clothes. I always don't have the luck to get clothes for CNY. Nothing really attracts me when I go shopping. As long as I feel new, its ok to start the new year without new clothes.

Each year, less people came over for visits and visiting also become lesser. The CNY break more or less become resting days for me and to spend time with the family. I look forward to the break and of course all the good food!

Hope I don't gain any weight after all the snackings!
