It is sad to know that another young person lost her life due to road accident.

Though I am not a fan of her nor I really watch her shows, I can feel that she was someone who work towards her dreams and goals. What's left behind for her family, friends and fans were only memories of her.

Life is that fragile.

Same lesson learnt once again:
Treasure your love ones. Do not regret only when they are gone forever.

19-20/01/2006
Company's team building training program at JB's Sofitel Resort, a compulsory event for every confirmed staff. Those of us that were going can be considered so called new staffs. Reached SGX Centre at around 7.15am and we all leave for Sofitel at about 7.30am. Bus journey plus check in at the immigration took about 2 hours. We reached Sofitel at 9pm. Trainer brief us on what to expect for the 2 days and after that was breakfast. Got to know some of the other colleagues from other sections. Though we all worked on the same floor, we hardly communicate due to different jobscope. Surprise to find that one of them was actually my senior's friend. The world is just that small.

Overall, the 2 days 1 night training was good except that it was abit rush. It was suppose to be a 3 days 2 night but they shorten everything to 2 days.

2 occasions that are worth celebrating. 1st is mom's birthday and 2nd Father is back ! Had dinner at Pervis Street and had a simple cake cutting session at home.

Went Katong with Sheila to have our hair done. I had it dyed and rebonded. The end result was bad! They did not do a good job in rebonding my hair. The ends are kind of frizzy.The 2 person who did my hair were inexperience!! I was already skeptical when they started working on my hair and I was right! What I can do now is to give my hair more treatments and hopefully it won't be that bad.

Went Orchard to meet Agnes and Yuanru after getting my hair done. Ate Ajisen Ramen for dinner at Taka. The standard of their ramen kind of drop. Shopped around and bought nothing. No mood for shopping also. Went PS's Mac to chill awhile and went home.

What I want to do and achieve in year 2007:

Exercise at least once a week.
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Drink more water.
Save more money.
Spend my money wisely. No more impulse purchases.
Take the plane and fly to Hongkong/Bangkok.
Start my part time degree in SIM.
Participate in some marathons.
Bring mummy and daddy regularly for shopping and good food.
Learn how to play majong.
Buy a new handphone.
Smile more. A lot of people said I look fierce when I don't smile. =(.
Be more appreciative of things and people around me.

So much resolutions to keep me occupied for the year. Hopefully, I am able to fulfill all!

A recap of what I did over the last weekend.

06/01/2007
Slack the whole day till evening. Met up with Agnes and Nana at Tiong Baru Plaza in the evening. We were heading to Zouk to support my younger sis in the Inter JC Pageant. The pageant was featured in Newpaper and Straits Time last week. Lucky my sis, she happened to be inside most of the photos featured in the articles. The queue to get in was super long when we reached. Bro+GF and my other sis were also there to support too .Waited for about 15 minutes before we got in. The crowd was larger than what I expected. The whole event ended about 10.30pm. Sheila didn't manage to win any titles. Nevertheless, its still a good experience for her. Bro+GF and sis went off after the event while me and the 2 gals hanged around to finish off our drinks coupons. Ended the day with some Hong Kong cafe food at East Coast and it was a treat from Nana's Gong Zi!

07/01/2007
Practically spent almost 1/2 a day sleeping. Woke up at 11 plus. Had cup noodles for brunch and went back to sleep at 2pm. Slept all the way to 5 plus , just in time to get dinner mom and others. I realized I can't take naps in the afternoon. It results me in having not being able to sleep at night. I only managed to sleep at 3am despite going to sleep at 12am.

I do not want to have any regrets in year 2007 and the years ahead. There are so many things I want to do. Time is precious.

Went on a crazy shopping spree just now. Spent over $200 plus on 2 dresses, 1 top and a bottom. All are for work. Din spend so much on working clothes in one go for a very long time. All items were from the same shop.

The satisfaction was priceless. Retail therapy still works very well for me. =)

Bye 2006, Hello 2007

Last entry on the last day of 2006.

I shall not make any new year resolutions this time. It always doesn't work..

In summary, 2006 was good! I am thankful for my family and friends who cared for me throughout this year. I may not be good in expressing but deep inside me, I am glad to have you people with me..

Few people I would like to specially mention:

Nana & Agnes - Times with you 2 were always stress free and lots of fun! Thanks for listening me to my crap always! I am glad that we managed to meet up often despite our busy schedule. I wish you 2 all the best in your studies!

Baoqi & Meitong - You 2 know me the best! Life wouldn't be the same without you 2. Thanks for the birthday banner! The best 21st birthday gift that I ever got.

Waicheng, AK, Shukai & Huarong - My best friends in ICT club. Enjoyed every single gathering we had ever since we graduated. Love you all always and all the best in 2007!

FYP group - All of us are leading different lifes now, glad that we are still able to meet up once in awhile. I wish you all the best in whatever you do in the coming 2007.

My dearest family - Everything will not be right without all of us together. I love family outings and being at home. There's no place better than home.

To all my friends, hope that 2006 have been a great one for all of you. Do not be discourage if it isn't. A better year is on its way!! Make the best out of it!
