Too much !

I have been eating and shopping too much.

Stuff I bought for the past 1 month:
4 Pairs of heels
3 Tops
1 Jacket
Eye shadows
Foundation
Hair Serum

And other miscellaneous items. I got this addiction for shoes now. I feel like getting very pair of shoes that look nice on me! Mom has been complaining that I am buying too much. But shoes, bags and clothes are never enough for a girl.

Was suppose to meet AK for breakfast but I woke up late. We met for lunch at Vivo City. The mall is big, too big to my liking.

We ate the much raved Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee.

The noodles are nice! This photo does no justice to the noodles. Its different from those wantan mee you eat at other hawker centre. The noodles are more thin and curlier. The bowl of noodles is made up of mince meat, vegetables,char siew, wantans and shrimps. Its definitely worth a try.

After the Kolo Mee, we went to one of the cafe facing the sea to chill. The interior of the cafe was nice. The cafe seems high class from the outside but drinks and food items are rather reasonable priced.

Spent the whole afternoon chilling and chatting away. Went to meet Nana at Bugis for dinner. Had Sakae Sushi. 2 of us ate up to a total bill of $17 plus. We ate only 8 colored plates. Shopped around and left the place with disappointment. Clothes that I wanted to get doesn't fit me at all. Bought 2 pair of shoes at Suntect and found a shop that sells nice clothes. The prices are rather steep but quality counts.

Brought Nana to this Hainanese Coffee Shop near Pervis street for supper. Ordered tea and their famous Kaya bread. Nana likes it. I find their Kaya bread nicer than Ya Kun's toast. I prefer toasted bread that tastes soft and fluffy than those crunchy kind.

Movie date with Waicheng at PS. We watched Casino Royale. My 1st James Bond movie. I have to say that its nice! I think I want to watch all the previous Bond movies. Bought 2 tops from U2 by G2000. This range of U2 clothing by G2000 are nicer than the normal U2 clothes. We had dinner at Ding Tai Fung.

I had Zha Jiang Mian. Waicheng commented that the Tan Dan Mian taste like peanut butter. Haha. The shrimp dumplings and Xiao Long Bao are so so only. Not really a fan of these two. Overall its not bad, the Chinese tea is nice too!

I think I had too much of good food this weekend. I live to eat rather than eat to live. There are more good food waiting to be discovered!

I am on leave tomorrow! The break came at the right time. I do not hate my job, just that I have been feeling quite lousy for the whole of this week. My whole body is like not functioning well from head to toe. Feeling very lethargic and restless and my foot are full of blisters from wearing covered shoes.

Met up with Yanru for dinner at PS. Did some catching up and we had Ben and Jerry icecream at Cathay! I love Strawberry Shortcake and Chunky Monkey!

Went Clarke Quay MRT to meet Baoqi after work. We were there for an important task. Something not be revealed till we get everything settled. I was craving for dim sum. We found this little dim sum shop near Lucky Chinatown and we settled in there. The hot chrysanthemum tea was great! We ordered some those typical dim sum dishes. Food was so so. not much variety also. Nevertheless, we enjoyed this mini dim sum feast.

KTV and shopping with my gals. Been ages since I meet Nana and Agnes. I am really glad to see them! I bought the cropped jacket which I have been considering for ages. The shop ran out of white one which I wanted to get and they can't confirm if any stocks will be coming. Anyway, I bought the black one and I did not regret the purchase. Wore it to work today and it fits me so well! The best thing is its very comfortable!

KTV session was great! Nana's Gong Zhi joined us and he sang only 1 song, Jay's Chou's Ang Jing. We came up with this conclusion that a lot of guys seem to like this song and Jay appeals to different kind of guys. From Ah Bengs to those Ang Mao kids. Sang from 5-9. We were all feeling hungry and decided to go Lau Pa Sat for stingray and satays! Sinful treats but we love it! Agnes' bf came to join us. Hang around till 11 plus and we all head for home.

Will have to untilise my long weekend. Hopefully, I can complete all the task that I have planned.

I have heard and came across many news reports on people who lost their lives through traffic accidents.

I never expect that to happen to someone related to me. Last Wednesday, a fatal bike accident took my cousin away from this world. He was only 25 years old. This news came as a shock to all relatives. Till now, I still could not accept the fact that he was just gone like that.

I have alot of cousins but sad to say I am not close to them now. Many of us used to have fun and played together when we were young. As we grew older, there were less family gatherings. We used to have regular family gatherings when my grandma from my father's side was still alive. That was more than 10 years ago. After she passed away, gatherings become lesser. Contacts with cousins also become lesser. The only time I get to meet most of my cousins is during Chinese new year. Some do not even visit anymore. The last time I met this cousin of mine was during Chinese new year. I can't remember if I even spoke to him..

One of my regrets in life would be not being able to have close contacts with my cousins. It would be great if we could still talk and hang out together just like when we were young. Last time, we gathered for the sake of my grandma. She loved seeing all the grandchildren.

Uncles, aunties and cousins gathered again. This time round was for his funeral. The funeral was considered grand for a young man. I feel for my 6th uncle and aunt who lost their son and my 2 cousins who lost their elder brother. They were the ones closest to him and definitely knew him the best.

Life is that fragile and vulnerable.

This incident has left me thinking alot.
