I just realized that Darren Hayes was part of Savage Garden!! Till now, I am still listening to their all time favorite Hits "truly, Madly, Deeply" and "I Knew I Loved You".
I got to know that he was that Savage Garden guy through an interview on TV. He mentioned that he was happy not to be associated with Savage Garden anymore. He mentioned something like fans should focus on his current solo achievements and not to still think about Savage Garden.
I second him for this. Savage Garden did gave him a start in his music career. However, as times goes by, people start to want things to go their way. I quoted this from one of the articles about their breakup years ago, "We've both had a lot of success together. We'll probably have a lot of success independently in the future."
People bound to look for green pastures at the other side. It seems that not all people want to stay stagnant in doing the same thing or having the same kind of success all over again. All of us like to explore what we can achieve by ourselves.
This triggers me to look, plan ahead. Never look back and regret.
I have to say that Darren Hayes has successfully getting people not associating him with Savage Garden. At least, I am one of them.
