Sheila wrote a testimonial for me in friendster. It feels kinda funny having my own sis writing a testimonial for me. She mentioned that her friends actually think that I am really pretty. I was like -_-?? I am neither photogenic nor I look really good in person. Worst still, I am always in my glasses most of the time.
Haha~ I guess beauty really lies in the eyes of beholder. I had colleagues asking me why I only put on contact lenses on Friday. They commented that I look nicer without glasses. I want to look pretty everyday too but my sensitive eyes don't allow me to do so. So, contact lenses are only save for weekends and special occasions.
All of us can look pretty everyday as long as we put in effort. True beauty is more than skin deep. I hope I got the term right.
To me, a true beauty besides looking good, is one whom is confident of herself, comfortable with who she is ,has a passion for everything she does and is sensitive of people around her.
I am only less than half way to becoming the beauty I want to be.
