Can money buy happiness?

I was told I would not be able to get my pay for the month of October on time. This isn't a really good news. I'm looking forward to that after a month of hard work.. Who doesn't right? The feeling really sucks.

My savings are seriously running low. Need to contribute part of my pay to the family as well. I need to feed myself and my shopping habits. Haha~

We used to say that money can't buy happiness. This is only true to a certain extend.

Look at those people leaving in the third world countries. They are living in poverty without proper housing and food. Imagine their expressions when kind volunteers present with them with some food stuff , its priceless. Though it sounds free, all the food stuffs that were donated cost money as well. Who says money can't buy happiness?

I know that's not exactly a good example but that applies to us as well. We would not be happy if we were not able to get what we want just because we do not have enough money. We all need to at least look good in order to survie in this competitive world.

Looking good includes investing on nice clothes and taking care of your looks. All these needs money as well. If we were to look good, we somehow feel good about ourselves as well. It indirectly increases our self confidence. With confidence, you are able to perform well in whatever you do and happiness do come along.

Haha~ Money certainly do able to buy happiness to a certain extend. What about the part of happiness where money cannot buy? This is where family, friends and love ones come into the picture. You can't use money to buy the family whom will stay by your side no matter what happens, friends whom loves you for who you are and the destined one who is able to spend a lifetime with you.

Haha~ I want both the happiness that money can and cannot buy. I know I'm greedy but who doesn't want that? =P
