New Location = Work To Do

Yeah... Finally, Growhill has officially shift to Hitachi Tower. The building is cool and security is damn tight. People working in that tower actually need their fingerprint to get in. That includes us too. The new office is located at the 32th level of Hitachi Tower and it got a really nice view. You can actually see Esplanade from there. Its so much nicer as compared to the old office where we can only see construction sites. Guess that the rental fee for the new office cost a bomb too.

The new office is like 2 times bigger than the old one but there's one thing I don't like about it is that all staff are separated into partitions. Me and Ching Ling used to have a room to ourselves but now all the staff sits together which results in no privacy. What's more, the Boss can easily see what we are doing. Me and Ching Ling cannot talk as loudly and as much as compared to last time le.

Has been feeling real tired these 2 days. Me and Ching Ling had been shuttling between Hitachi Tower and Asia Insurance Building(where the old office is located). We were asked to help to carry stuff over to the new office. Though is asked to help but in fact that we have no choice. The stuff we were asked to carry were rather heavy. Distance between the 2 buildings were rather far as well. Imagine us walking with heels somemore. Both of us were kind of exhuasted after the few trips.

Working at Hitachi Tower also means tat money spend on lunch in furture will increase. There are lots of things to eat but they are rather expensive coz of the location. There's a shopping mall there too. Hitachi Tower which is located at Caltex is considered one of the most "happening" area at Raffles Place. All the shops and nice stuff are located here but they don't come out cheap either.

Had been spending more than $6 on lunch for the 2 days. Ate Yoshinoya yesterday and MOS Burger juz not. Yeah... Gonna be broke soon if we spend like that everyday. We no longer can go Lau Pa Sat as often as we did last time. Its so far away from Hitachi Tower. Eating at Lau Pa Sat is much more economical as compared to now. I miss eating the Ban Mian and Chicken Rice there.. Shall make an effort to walk over there to eat.=P

The Boss has finally allocated us work to do!! Something IT related definately. We gotta make use of ASP and SQL server to create a datasheet where we can enter staff details and create a search engine. We are not familiar with ASP but I believe we can overcome it. I am rather happy its a pair work. Gotta use Ching Ling's com coz mine can't make it. The Boss did not give us any deadline. He juz said get it done as soon as possible.. Ya.. If possible end of this week... Haha... Need to get ourselves familarise with ASP 1st. We encounted some problems in connecting to the server. It was then we realised that the main server is not set up yet so we could only continue with our work tomorrow. So, the rest of the day was spend slacking.

Enough of the new company.. the entry is so long...
Anyway, created a new column for photo albums on my sidebar. Juz upload a few pics of me and Dear. Hehe.. Will upload others soon...
